Screensaver not activating whilst HWinfo is running

I have tried searching forums and googling but am unable to find a solution. Whilst ever HWinfo is running my power saving/screensaver settings will no longer activate when I leave my PC idling. If I shut down HWinfo everything returns to normal. 

Is there a setting or something I am missing that will solve this issue?

I think that monitoring some of the sensors is triggering activity in the system, which then prevents from activating the screensaver due to idle state.
Try to disable monitoring of sensors one be one (hit Del on the sensor heading) to determine which one is causing that. It might be the disk sensor...
 
Thank you Martin, your help was greatly appreciated.

It turns out it was the PSU monitoring that was keeping the system active.
