Hello

I have an issue with HWInfo and the total CPU usage
CSV log file: [attachment=420]

how it looks graphically:
[attachment=421]

how it looks doing mathematical average over the 4 cores:
[attachment=423]

and how it looks with W7's own Resource Monitor:
[attachment=422]
(note use this only as comparison since in the CSV and graph is the monitoring data while game playing and this is only in hangar view, basically game is IDLE)

CPU: Intel Q9550 @2.83Ghz
MB: GigaByte X38-DS5
Mem: 8Gb DDR2
Vid: Radeon HD7870
OS: Win7 x64

Thanks for the report. You're right this doesn't seem to be correct.
So the screenshot from Resource Monitor is not from the same time as the CSV ?
Is Task Manager showing the same data as the Resource Monitor?

Also, could you please attach the HWiNFO Debug File? It's not necessary to capture the entire monitoring session, just for the system config details.

According to the data it shows a constant Total usage of 72.5% during that period. What about rest of time (before and after), did it show the same constant usage?

I will have to get back to you on that, will do another batch of testing and report back

OK, slap me and call me stupid :s
I had the total CPU sensor turned off and looks like it recorded the 1st value for the entire data pool
apologies :angel:

:)
Yep, that's how it works if you disable a sensor... I'm glad that it's solved now, because I run out of ideas ;)
