Unable to get rid of v6.29-4215

I have installed v7.06-4500 but whenever I start my PC v6.29-4215 runs. I cannot find this file on my computer. How do I delete hwi_629.exe?

Check Windows Task Scheduler if it starts a HWiNFO task and if yes, it should tell you the path where it resides.

Hi, I rebooted and checked Task Scheduler but HWiNFO does not have a location. See snip below

That looks like it's located in the root folder. Try to check detailed task properties or delete the task.

I was able to edit HWiNFO in Task Scheduler to the correct location in Program Files. It was pointing to an old copy of HWiNFO629.exe on my external hard drive.
Thanks for pointing me to Task Scheduler which I have not used before.
