Hi Dalai and thanks for checking in!

Windows defender is completely disabled apart from the firewall, just to be sure, I checked out the settings linked in that post and most of them are missing or hidden behind a "disabled" radio button.
I double checked BitDefenders logs to see if it had hammered down on something, but the logs are clear there.

EDIT: To be sure, I've tried adding the hwinfo64 binary to the exceptions list in BD as well.
