Weird use case. Guest VM with SMbus passed through with VFIO.

I have a home lab setup with Linux as the host and various guest VMs. The problem is lm_sensors in Linux doesn't support the sensors on my sticks of RAM. I was able to find where they are on the SMBus in Linux, but it can't read their temps right.

I passed the SMBus controller to a Windows guest VM without issue, was even able to install the AMD chipset drivers for it, and it is detected properly in Windows. The problem is since Hwinfo doesn't know the RAM is there it doesn't know to look for it on the SMBus and pull the sensor info.

Is there any way I can "trick" Hwinfo into doing this? Because I know it can read my RAM temp sensors if I boot directly to WIndows.

No, sorry. We don't want HWiNFO to trick into something, it should report what's really in the system.
Reading DDR5 SPD Hub temperature is easy and described in the JEDEC DDR5 SPD Hub specification JESD300-5.
