HWiNFO64 crashing during NVIDIA driver update on Windows 11

Excellent, thank you. And I am sorry, I overlooked the earlier question about number of crashes during NVIDIA driver update - it crashed only once. There is a hotfix driver available (I haven't installed it yet), so in case you wish some testing to be done, I can help.

HWiNFO64 crashing during NVIDIA driver update on Windows 11

Thank you, will keep an eye on that report and in case I will be updating my NVIDIA driver again, I will restart HWiNFO with debug option before the driver update, so that I can get some data too (perhaps it might be useful for comparison).

HWiNFO64 crashing during NVIDIA driver update on Windows 11

That is OK, I understand it and I am quite happy with everything HWiNFO related... it is just you could have said "Sorry, at the moment there is no solution to these crashes, so just start it again." instead of being sarcastic... ... and who knows, maybe someone else had experienced similar...

Martin, mohol by si vediet, ze je rozdiel medzi riesenim problemu a jeho ignorovanim a obchadzanim... :)

HWiNFO64 crashing during NVIDIA driver update on Windows 11

Well, I can understand that recommendation... maybe HWiNFO doesn't like suddenly loosing communication with the sensors on the card itself due to reload of the driver and that can be problematic in various ways... it would also perhaps explain why I never experienced this issue before as I...

HWiNFO64 crashing during NVIDIA driver update on Windows 11

Hello, anyone experiencing HWiNFO64 crashes during NVIDIA driver updates on Windows 11, please? System: AMD 7800X3D, NVIDIA 3070 (Gigabyte Gaming OC), Windows 11 Enterprise (22H2 build 22621.2428), NVIDIA driver 546.01 (Game Ready Driver), HWiNFO v7.64-5240 (sensors mode, 5 seconds interval, no...

PSU monitoring in HWiNFO (supported PSUs and available readings)

Hm, OK, so that narrows down my choices... and what about supported measured parameters, they are the same for all of them?

PSU monitoring in HWiNFO (supported PSUs and available readings)

In one of earlier discussions regarding power supply information in HWiNFO (https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/no-power-supply-information.7698/post-32989) there is mentioned that PSU monitoring is possible only for a few "intelligent" PSUs that have such capability and sensors and provide...

Duplicate sensors in HWiNFO Sensors Status window (normal vs. computer name prefix)

Hmmm, yes, I played with remote monitoring few weeks ago and forgot about that... OK, this sorted it out. ... and I found some differences (some grouping) e.g. in graphics card sensors, so I will have to look on them and decide which ones I want to use (local or "remote" ones, that basically go...

Duplicate sensors in HWiNFO Sensors Status window (normal vs. computer name prefix)

OK, thank you, I will compare them (logging csv file shows ~800 columns from all sensors in total, but hopefully I will find the differences)... and what about my original question, please? Why there are "seemingly duplicate" sensors shown, where one sensor is "normal" and "seemingly duplicate"...

Duplicate sensors in HWiNFO Sensors Status window (normal vs. computer name prefix)

Sorry, should have done that in the beginning:

Duplicate sensors in HWiNFO Sensors Status window (normal vs. computer name prefix)

I am wondering why am I seeing duplicate sensors in HWiNFO Sensors Status window, where one sensor is "normal" and duplicate sensor is prefixed with computer name in brackets? I am thinking about removing some of them (mainly because they seem to be redundant and then the logging takes ~2x more...
