Hi, i recently bought a HP Elitebook 845 G11. I replaced the single DDR5 Ram module it came with > >
Crucial RAM 48GB Kit (2x24GB) DDR5 5600MHz CT2K24G56C46S5.
On one hand, neither in the Bios, nor in Crucials own detector will the two memory modules be recognized as Crucial
(Micron or whatever), rather than just being shown as "Unkown". In HWINFO and CPU-Z the brand and more information is present.
When it comes to the sensor part, the DDR5 temperatures are not shown at all.
I did own Crucial RAM in the past and temperatures were present in another machine.
My question is: Is this because the modules are pretty "new" and are simply not being implemented as such,
or has this rather to do with the motherboard not offering a sensor at the ram slots?
I am super curious, because in the past i encountered high temperatures on ddr5-sticks and adding some
cooling was a good thing to do - now i simply cannot measure anything in terms of temperatures there,
so i feel somewhat "blind".
Thanks for your assistance.
