HP Workstation Z440 - FANs don't show

HP Workstation Z440:
1. Motherboard Model:   Hewlett-Packard 212B
2. Motherboard Chipset: Intel C612 (Wellsburg-G)
3. OS Windows 10 Pro
4. HWiNFO64 v5.32 for Windows (Native 64-bit)

It's a problem: FANs don't show on the sensor status panel.
Only GPU FAN show.

This board might use some proprietary methods to access fans.
Are you aware of any tool that can read fan speed on this board ?
Please post the HWiNFO Debug File with sensor data for analysis.
 
I attached the debug file.
I tested SpeedFAN but it don't show too.

I'm sorry, I don't have information how to read fan speeds on that machine. It's most probably something proprietary.

Why the information about fan speeds is not transmitted?
Is it a problem of BIOS or Windows 10?
Where to look for the problem?
 
It's not a bug, it's by design. Fan speed might be readable somehow, but unlike most machines it's using some proprietary (secret) method, so I don't know how to read it there.

Please download the RW-Everything tool, run, click the ACPI button, save all to a file and attach here. I'll check if I can see something there.

Also it might be useful if you could run AIDA64, right-click at the bottom status bar and create a SMBus sensor dump.

Thank you. Yes, I can see something interesting there, but I need a bit more data.
Using the RW-Everything tool, please choose Memory, enter address: CBED0000
then save the output and attach here.
 
I attached the SMBIOS file still where I saw the information about the fans.

This seems to be really a proprietary access method, a bit tricky.
Please give me some time to analyze the data and come up with a test version.

Please try and let me know what happens. I'm not sure if it will work, as this is a bit tricky and might require more testing/fixing.
If all works well, you should see a new sensor called "HP EC", that should display new temperatures and fan speeds.
In either case, please attach a new HWiNFO Debug File using this build, so I can verify all details.
Also, try to avoid running it along with HP diagnostics tools, as it might cause conflicts between HWiNFO and them.

1. The program is run in normal mode. I see a new sensor called "HP EC", but the values are not correct. I have attached a screen shot.
2. The program hangs at startup in debug mode. Hard drive clicks heads continuously. I have attached the debug file.

Thanks, that's a good sign that most of the code works, probably just a few minor glitches that need to be fixed.
What are the approximate correct values that should be reported ?
Also, please try to wait a bit more in Debug Mode if it will start. In case you run HWiNFO from a USB or SSD drive, try to start it from a HDD.
 
1. I have attached a screen shot from HP Performance Advisor. Memory fan = 0 (this module is not installed).
2. I run HWiNFO from a HDD.
3. I waited 1 minute, but the program hung on the analysis of the devices. The hard drive is very loud cracked heads.

OK, so let's summarize the problems:
1. The Ambient temperature is wrong. I should be able to fix this.
2. The Memory Fan should not be reported. I don't know why yet.
3. CPU fan looks wrong on the screenshot too. Was it really spinning slower during that time, or is that wrong too?
The rest looks OK, or anything else?
