Hwinfo Gadget stopped working after Win 11 update

The Hwinfo is working with the main and sub windows but it is not transferring to the gadget anymore. I tried reloading/updating to the newest version (didn't work), reinstalled the gadget (didn't work), checked all configuration and still nothing. Have you come across anything since the last 2 Windows 11 updates?

PS, I just got another notification of another Windows Update! what is going on? this is the 3rd update this month

For a gadget to work in later Windows you need a 3rd party extension e.g. 8GadgetPack because Windows removed gadget support since Windows 8.

Martin, I do have the third party gadgets and was working fine until 3 windows updates ago, end of June. Is there any other reports about this?

No other reports about such issue yet. It could be rather some compatibility problem between latest Windows update and the 3rd party extension.

The problem is scaling. I wanted bigger screen so I can see better far away and it affected HWInfo. I put it back and all is working again, funny
