HWiNFO process silently stops

Recently I got the problem when HWiNFO starts with Windows (24H2 26100.3775), shows some values in tray and then silently dissappears. I didn't cath the moment when it stops working, although I had this several times already. No errors or something. Starting it manually from Start menu works fine, until next time.

What can be the trouble? I used HWiNFO before this for years without such behavior.

I'm sorry for the delayed response, but this is a sporadic bug. I've noticed that along with HWiNFO, other processes may also terminate unexpectedly—such as Jellyfin Server or the DeepCool application. This most commonly occurs after the PC wakes up from sleep mode.

It seems this might not be an issue with HWiNFO itself, but rather a behavior specific to Windows in this situation. In that case, would a debug log still be needed?

I have a similar issue, once in a while ~12 day period(if i notice that it is gone from system tray) the app silently crashes.
Running the debug file is space intensive with 1 day of running weighing ~8gb, ~6mb/minute.
Does polling rate influence the debug file growth? mine is set at 2000ms.

Yes, the polling rate affects it but it will be still too large for such a long period.
Try to disable monitoring of the PresentMon sensor if that will solve the problem.
