Hi, I was trying to use HWiNFO on my old desktop and was having issues getting it to launch. It hangs the system at "EC" or "PMBus". I enabled the debug log in the HWiNFO settings, an HWiNFO64.DBG file is present, but it is 0 bytes. I have tried with both HWiNFO 8.00 and 7.72. The system in question is a Dell Optiplex 580 with BIOS version A05. The OS is Windows 10 LTSB 2015 (1507).
PS: I was just finishing up this post and was going to add the Service Tag of the device, but I noticed that the normal wmic command to get it doesn't seem to output anything, so I'm kinda wondering if the issue is some sort of weird bios corruption. Will try updating the BIOS and see if that helps any.
