Package/Ring Thermal Throttling vs Core Thermal Throttling

Hi,

Still a bit new to HWinfo and the different sensors. I was doing some testing on my 14700K on Cinebench R23 and was wondering what is the differnce between Package/Ring Thermal Throttling and Core Thermal Throttling?

Here are the temps i got when benchmarking:


Is Package/Ring Thermal Throttling triggered when the entire package meets the criteria for thermal throtting (e.g. in this case the package spiked to 99 for a split second)
And Core Thermal Throttling when a single core thermal throttles? and can this also trigger when the Package/Ring Thermal Throttling?

Apolgies if this seems obvoius im just trying to get my head around this.
