Slot Usage

OK, I have been having a hard time getting my motherboard to recognize my video card. I ran HWINFO64 with nothing plugged in to the slots on my system and HWINFO64 reports "In Use" under System Slots>System Usage on each device under System Slots. I have seen screen shots from other folks where some will be "available" and some will be "in use." Any ideas what the issue could be?

This information comes from SMBIOS DMI and the BIOS is responsible for it. Unfortunately many BIOSes don't care to provide accurate information. So you cannot rely on this usage reported.
