UI constantly unresponsive with corsair link (ax1600i)

I have an ax1600i psu. I'm not running the corsair software, but I do have the driver installed so that hwinfo can interface with it. The problem is that with reading of the corsair link information, the hwinfo UI is constantly freezing/unresponsive between update ticks which occur once every few seconds. Is it that the corsair hardware query is happening synchronously but in a super slow way, blocking the ui? If so, can that querying maybe happen on a separate thread or something? Would love to see a fix for this issue, as it makes the hwinfo sensor interface pretty unusable when enabled.

Yes, currently sensors are read synchronously for certain reasons. There's a plan for asynchronous (multi-threaded) polling in future.
Anyway, it would be much better if some Corsair devices would have more reliable interfaces.
