Hello,
As per the image shown below, my laptop mounts the highlighted HD (Toshiba SSD NVMe M.2 THNSN5256GPU7). (This is the source)

I would like to have some clarification regarding the hard drive that detects HWiNFO. I show you what is revealed.

Why does the hard drive appear as a NVMe (PCIe 4 x8.0) under the 'Control Drive' tab, instead of appearing as a NVMe (PCIe 3 x2.0) ?
Thanks for any help

You read it wrong. It shows 4x 8.0 GT/s, which means 4 lanes of PCIe 3.0 (8 GT/s).

So, is it correct that the hard drive classified by the manufacturer as 'PCIe 3.1, NVMeTM 1.1b*14/ M.2 M' is revealed as a '4x 8.0 GT/s'? (It seems a bit odd to me. The speeds (read and write) provided by a PCIe 3x4 are quite far from those declared by the manufacturer)
